Community Toolkit

We rely on community members, advocates, and students to help connect us with the over 600 school districts in New Jersey. The mandate requiring the inclusion of Asian American history and contributions in NJ schools didn’t come out of nowhere. Its most powerful advocates were students who had faced prejudice and believed that education was the best way of ensuring that all children grow up knowing they belong. It’s going to take time to implement this law, but we know we have to act with a sense of urgency when it comes to our kids.
