Our mission is to ensure that educators have access to the highest-quality resources and training available, so that all public school students in New Jersey grow up understanding that Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are part of the fabric of our nation, and all AAPI children know they matter and belong.

While the historic NJ AAPI Curriculum Bill was passed with near unanimous, bipartisan support in early 2022, implementation has become the responsibility of each of New Jersey’s 600 school districts. Like other unfunded curriculum mandates (e.g. Holocaust studies), this law and similar efforts across the country won’t succeed without the partnership of educators, civic leaders, and the philanthropic community.
